About the Game

Pokémon Galaxy Emerald, a fan-built ROM hack based on the original Pokémon Emerald game, is designed to make it easier to catch all 386 Pokémon without trading or cheats. This version features several fun aspects such as a higher shiny encounter rate (making it easier to find shiny Pokémon), reusable TMs, and access to all evolution stones at the Lilycove Mart.

For example, in Galaxy Emerald, you can develop Pokémon that typically require trading via a special Link Stone, removing the need for trading between players. Moreover, Pokémon such as Eevee, in addition to their more flexible evolutions, also evolve into Espeon and Umbreon using Sun and Moon Stones. Battles are balanced and fun: the game also includes quality-of-life improvements like a new EV-IV viewer and tweaks to wild Pokémon encounters and gym leader teams.

Other cool features include Red and Leaf (FireRed/LeafGreen), team fighting with Team Magma and Aqua based on their trading card game decks, and access to all Deoxys in-game. This hack is similar to the original with interesting updates for modern Pokémon users.
