Pokemon Ruby Cross

About the Game

A fan-made version of the Game Boy Advance, “Pokémon Ruby Cross” is a classic Pokémon Ruby game, largely adapted from the original. Jaizu conceived it to improve the experience without compromising much from the original base game. The new version introduces subtle changes to make playing more fun while maintaining the old-school feel of Ruby. For example, it allows you to carry more items, forget HM moves directly from the menu, and auto-run by pressing a button. It even adds some new Pokémon encounters to keep things fresh.

The game does not try to add new elements such as storylines or mechanics. It’s about small changes like increasing the number of Poké Balls you can hold and making some evolutions smoother. These changes help, but don’t make a huge change in the gameplay. It is likely a favorite for players who loved Ruby but want a smoother playthrough.

While the game is still in the beta phase, it has already received updates to fix bugs and add features, such as allowing players to choose the font and select Pokémon from Ruby or Sapphire in encounters.
